Skills for Life

We are home to scouting for over 2000 young people aged 6 to 25, in the north-east Bristol area.

We are supported by more than 500 adult volunteers, who encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more.

Welcome to Brunel District

Brunel District supports 18 Scout groups and 5 Explorer Scout units in delivering local Scouting that meets our shared values. Providing a wide range of exciting opportunities for young people and our adult volunteers alike.

We are always enthusiastic about getting more people involved in Scouting, so if you want to discover what’s going on in your area, this is the place to start. If you’re at all interested in signing up as a young person or a volunteer, we strongly encourage you to do so!

Adult volunteers

The Scouts award-winning training scheme for volunteers means that adults get as much from Scouts as young people.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
